Gilles Galliou is vice president of Environmental Science North America for Bayer CropScience LP.

Gilles was born in the Normandy region of France and grew up there.  He received a degree in crop protection, agronomy and economics from ISTOM in Le Havre, France.

He was trained in risk management at EM Lyon University in France and in general business management at IMD Lausanne University in Switzerland. He joined Bayer CropScience in 1990 and worked in several international assignments. In 2003 Gilles joined Bayer Environmental Science and became vice president of commercial operations in the United States in 2010.

As vice president and general manager, Gilles will help define and implement the strategic plan for all business segments within Bayer Environmental Science in North America.
