The all-new GlyTol® trait for cotton is a glyphosate-tolerant technology that delivers season-long, in-plant tolerance to glyphosate herbicides.
GlyTol offers freedom, flexibility and crop safety in glyphosate-tolerant cotton, empowering growers to choose the herbicide and herbicide-tolerant trait system that will optimize weed management on their farms.
With GlyTol, growers enjoy enhanced freedom of choice without glyphosate brand restrictions while reaping the rewards of cotton varieties with superior yield and fiber quality, as well as the benefits of Bayer CropScience’s valuable Shared Risk Program.
GlyTol will be initially available in Bayer’s outstanding FiberMax® germplasm. Three high-performing varieties will be available in 2011: FM 9101GT, FM 9103GT and FM 2011GT are well-adapted to the High Plains and Rolling Plains of the Southwest and have exhibited excellent yield potential.
