Expanded crop label and reduced plant-backs add flexibility, better fit for growers

Reason^® 500 SC fungicide is a broad-spectrum foliar fungicide that provides outstanding control of certain plant diseases of potatoes and other tuberous and corm vegetables, leafy vegetables, brassica vegetables, carrots, cotton, onions and other bulb vegetables, cucurbit crops and fruiting vegetables.

Reason is a locally systemic, foliar fungicide that stops disease development at more stages in the disease life cycle. The active ingredient provides a fast acting, consistently high level of control against many important diseases. This preventive activity, combined with a strong spore-killing effect, provides more complete disease protection than competing products.

Reason^® 500 SC fungicide provides proven, outstanding disease control of downy mildew and other tough diseases. And now Reason has an expanded label that covers additional vegetable crops and also provides reduced plant-back restrictions for greater in-field flexibility. This label change makes Reason much more practical and easier to use in vegetable growing operations.

Any registered crops from the expanded label may be replanted immediately following the last application of Reason. Wheat, corn, soybeans and strawberries may be planted 30 days after the last application of Reason, and sugarbeets can be planted seven months after the last application of Reason.

For potatoes and other tuberous vegetables, Reason^® 500 SC fungicide provides outstanding disease control of early blight, late blight and white rust (sweet potato only). And now Reason has a revised label that reduces plant-back restrictions for greater in-field flexibility.
