Raising awareness and donations for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTF)

Named the top fundraising team for 2010, Team Bayer CropScience worked together to raise awareness and donations for PBTF through the annual motorcycle ride, Ride for Kids. Last year, the team raised over $35,000 during its awareness day with employees. A local family and doctor facing this challenging disease spoke to employees to share how important the donations are to researching a cure for brain tumors.

About Pediatric Brain Tumors
Research is crucial to improving and saving children’s’ lives. Over 28,000 children are living with brain tumors, and each day, ten more children are diagnosed. Seventy-six percent of those diagnosed are younger than 15 years-old and treatments are very specific and require special research.
