Our vegetable seed operations are leading international developers and suppliers of high quality vegetable seeds and services. Under the global Nunhems brand, we market 900 varieties in 28 species around the globe to professional growers, plant propagators, seed dealers and the fresh produce and food processing industries. Our main crops include carrots, onions, tomatoes, leeks and melons.


AgSeeds - holding a strong competitive position in cotton and other key markets
Our AgSeed focuses on improving agronomic performance, in crops including cotton and canola, using modern plant breeding and plant biotechnology innovations. Our global cotton business is headquartered in Lubbock, Texas, where we direct the development and marketing of brands such as FiberMax® cotton, offering growers superior fiber quality and a variety of crop management options that allow for flexibility and high returns in the field.

Together, FiberMax and our AFD and Stoneville seed lines have vaulted Bayer CropScience to a leadership position in planted cotton acres in the United States. Our cotton portfolio is further enhanced with a broad line of high quality crop protection products for cotton, providing growers with total solutions for superior cotton production.
